Clockwise Alternatives in 2026: What to Use After the Shutdown
Clockwise shut down on March 27, 2026, so everyone who used it needs a replacement. To keep team meetings moving on their own, Reclaim is the closest match. For phone apps and iCloud calendars, Morgen. For free task scheduling, FlowSavvy. For focus blocks only, Google Calendar or Outlook. For meeting prep on a Mac, Merlin.
We make Merlin, one of the tools on this page. Every claim about other tools is checked against their own sites.
Clockwise is no longer available: its own site says the product stopped on March 27, 2026, and that customer data is deleted shortly after. The closest replacement is Reclaim.ai, which Clockwise itself recommends and which moves shared meetings when calendars change. Morgen, FlowSavvy and the focus time built into Google Calendar and Outlook each cover part of what Clockwise did. Merlin, our own Mac app, covers the prep around meetings rather than the scheduling.
If your Focus Time blocks vanished one morning and a weekly 1:1 stopped finding a better slot, this page is for you. It sets out what Clockwise did, which of those jobs each alternative takes over, a side-by-side of published prices and platforms, and what to rebuild first.
Is Clockwise shutting down?
Yes, and it already has. Clockwise's shutdown notice says the team is joining Salesforce and that the product would no longer be available starting March 27, 2026, the same day customer support ended. The notice is specific about what happens next:
- Your data is deleted. Clockwise says data is deleted shortly after access ends, and that there is no transfer of data to Salesforce.
- Calendar holds are removed. Focus Time, Travel Time, Meeting Breaks and synced personal events that Clockwise created come off your calendar.
- Flexible Meetings stop moving. They stay where they last landed, and the Clockwise marker on them is removed.
- Scheduling Links stop working. Anyone who books you through an old link reaches nothing.
- Prepaid time is refunded. Subscriptions that ran past March 27, 2026 get a prorated refund for the unused period.
So the question isn't whether to leave Clockwise. It's which of its jobs you still need done, because no single alternative does all of them the same way.
What Clockwise did, and which tool replaces each part
Clockwise was an AI calendar assistant for teams. Its notice lists the features people relied on: automatic Focus Time, Travel Time and Meeting Breaks, personal calendar sync, Flexible Meetings that moved to better times on their own, and Scheduling Links. Clockwise says it was used by about 40,000 organizations and rescheduled roughly 23 million meetings. That last feature, moving shared meetings without anyone asking, is the hardest one to replace.
Clockwise feature | Closest replacement | Also covered by |
|---|---|---|
Flexible Meetings (moved shared meetings) | None of the others listed here move meetings with other people | |
Focus Time | Morgen AI Focus Blocks; Google Calendar focus time; Outlook focus time | |
Meeting Breaks and Travel Time | Morgen Buffer & Travel Time; FlowSavvy buffer and travel time | |
Personal calendar sync | Morgen multi-calendar sync | |
Scheduling Links | Morgen scheduling links |
Five Clockwise alternatives, matched to what you're missing
Reclaim.ai: for teams that want meetings to keep moving
Reclaim.ai is the replacement Clockwise names in its shutdown notice, and the one closest in spirit. Reclaim's Smart Meetings "automatically find, schedule, and maintain the best time for attendees," according to its Smart Meetings page, and move to the next best time when PTO, schedule changes or higher-priority work get in the way. The homepage adds Focus Time, Habits, Tasks, Buffer Time, Calendar Sync and Scheduling Links, with tasks pulled from Asana, ClickUp, Todoist, Jira, Linear and Google Tasks. On security, Reclaim cites SOC 2 Type II certification and states that it doesn't train AI on your data.
Reclaim connects to Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar. Its pricing page lists a free Lite plan for one user with a one-week scheduling range; Starter costs $10 per seat each month on a yearly plan, $12 on monthly billing, Business $15 or $18, and Enterprise $22 a seat, yearly only. Smart Meetings and Focus Time appear on every plan. Reclaim's Clockwise page described a 12-month price match for Clockwise accounts, open through June 30, 2026, so ask Reclaim whether it still applies before you buy.
The gap is phones. Reclaim's mobile help article says it doesn't have native iOS or Android apps; you add the web app to your home screen, or edit its events in Google's calendar app. For a team on Google or Outlook that loved Flexible Meetings, Reclaim is the natural next stop.
Morgen: for phones, iCloud and planning the whole day
Morgen is a calendar app with an AI Planner, aimed at people whose calendars live in several places. Its Clockwise page maps each Clockwise feature to a Morgen one: AI Focus Blocks for Focus Time, the AI Daily Planner in place of Flexible Meetings ("Your whole day planned, not just meetings. Review before it's set."), built-in Scheduling Links, multi-calendar sync across Google, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, Zoho and CalDAV, and Buffer & Travel Time for Meeting Breaks.
Morgen's pricing page lists apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile and the browser. The individual plan runs $30 on month-to-month billing, or $15 monthly when paid for the year; teams pay $25 a seat monthly or $10 a seat yearly, with two seats minimum. Morgen has no free tier, and its 14-day trial asks for no credit card. The Clockwise page offers 35% off the first year with the code "ClockwiseMatch."
Morgen fits someone who plans on a phone as much as a laptop, or who keeps family plans in iCloud next to a work calendar. Its planner proposes your day for you to review, which suits people who found Clockwise's automatic moves a little too automatic.
FlowSavvy: for individuals who want tasks scheduled, free
FlowSavvy is an AI calendar that finds time for your tasks and reschedules them when plans change. Its pricing page lists two-way sync with Google Calendar, Outlook.com and iCloud, on the web, iOS and Android. The free plan schedules up to two weeks out, with three repeating auto-scheduled tasks; Pro costs $14 a month billed monthly or $10 a month billed yearly and reaches eight weeks out.
FlowSavvy is upfront about its limit: its own Clockwise alternatives article says it does not move meetings. Choose FlowSavvy if you used Clockwise mostly to protect your own time and get tasks onto the calendar, and nobody else depended on it to arrange shared meetings.
Google Calendar or Outlook: for focus time without a new app
If Focus Time was the only Clockwise feature you used, your calendar may already do it. Focus time in Google Calendar blocks time, mutes Chat notifications and can decline new and existing meetings automatically, per Google's help page. It needs a Google Workspace Business Standard or Plus, Enterprise Standard or Plus, Education or Nonprofits account; personal Gmail accounts don't get it.
On Outlook, Microsoft Viva Insights offers Book time to focus, and Book all schedules all available focus time across the week at once, according to Microsoft's Viva Insights guide. The guide lists Outlook for Microsoft 365 and new Outlook for Windows, so check with your IT admin that Viva Insights is turned on for your account. Neither option moves meetings or schedules tasks. Our guides to using Google Calendar and automating Google Calendar cover the rest of the setup.
Merlin: for the work around each meeting
Merlin is our product, and it doesn't replace Clockwise's scheduling. Merlin runs on the Mac, reads your Google Calendar and Gmail, and helps with what surrounds your meetings. About ten minutes before an event, a Meeting Brief arrives in chat with attendee backgrounds, relevant earlier discussions, commitments and agenda suggestions. The Daily Digest at 8 AM lists the mail that matters and today's events from every connected Google account. Paid plans add change alerts (Merlin's Calendar Sync, which notifies you rather than syncing calendars), a heads-up whenever a meeting with other people is added, moved or cancelled. Ask in chat to change an event and Merlin shows a card first; nothing changes until you confirm.
The To-do panel gathers open tasks from Linear, Notion, Todoist and Granola, ranked after each sync by priority, due dates and what's on your calendar over the next few days. It doesn't put those tasks on the calendar for you.
What Merlin won't do matters for a Clockwise user: it doesn't create focus blocks or move meetings, there's no Windows or phone version, and it connects Google accounts only, not Outlook (two accounts on the free plan, up to five on a paid one). The free plan comes with 5,000 credits each month and no card; Pro costs $29 monthly, or $278 for a full year. Because Reclaim and Morgen write to your Google Calendar, Merlin can sit alongside either one.

How to choose a Clockwise replacement
- Your team relied on Flexible Meetings. Reclaim. It's the only option here whose own pages say it moves shared meetings when conflicts come up.
- You plan from your phone, or your calendars include iCloud. Morgen, with desktop and mobile apps and the widest calendar support here.
- You worked alone and mainly wanted tasks on the calendar. FlowSavvy's free plan is the cheapest way to start.
- You only ever used Focus Time. Try Google Calendar's focus time or Viva Insights in Outlook before paying for anything.
- Scheduling was fine; walking in unprepared wasn't. Merlin, if your calendars are Google's and your computer is a Mac, next to whichever scheduler you pick.
Rebuilding your setup after Clockwise
Since Clockwise deleted its data after March 27, 2026, plan to rebuild your settings from memory rather than import them. Start with the parts other people notice:
- Replace your scheduling link first. Old Clockwise links reach nothing, so update your email signature, website and any saved templates.
- Check your recurring meetings. Flexible Meetings froze at their last time slot. Look over next week's 1:1s and team syncs for ones stuck at awkward hours.
- Set your focus goal and working hours again in the new tool, plus any meeting-free days or break rules your team agreed on.
- Reconnect your personal calendar if Clockwise used to block that time on your work calendar; the synced holds were removed.
Test before you commit a team
Give a new tool a full week of real meetings before you commit a team to it. Reclaim's Lite plan and FlowSavvy's free plan cost nothing to test, and Morgen's trial needs no card.
Be ready for the meetings your scheduler books
Whatever arranges your week now, Merlin reads the same Google Calendar and sends a brief about ten minutes before each meeting: who's attending, what you discussed last time and what you promised. Download it for macOS and start without entering a card.

Is Clockwise still available?
No. Clockwise says its product stopped being available on March 27, 2026, when its team joined Salesforce, and that customer data is deleted shortly after.
What happened to my Clockwise Focus Time and meetings?
Clockwise says the Focus Time, Travel Time, Meeting Breaks and synced personal holds it created are removed from your calendar, and Flexible Meetings stop moving and stay where they last landed. Scheduling Links stop working too.
What does Clockwise recommend instead?
Clockwise's shutdown notice points customers to Reclaim.ai, which committed to a price match and migration help for Clockwise teams. Reclaim's own page gave a June 30, 2026 deadline for the price match, so check whether it still applies.
Is there a free Clockwise alternative?
Yes. Reclaim's Lite plan and FlowSavvy's free plan both cost nothing for one person. Google Calendar's focus time is included with eligible Google Workspace accounts.
Which Clockwise alternative works on iPhone and Android?
Morgen and FlowSavvy both list mobile apps. Reclaim has no native phone app; its help center suggests adding the web app to your home screen.
