Merlin is an AI chief of staff for your Mac. It helps with browser research and tasks, meetings, files, coding projects, connected services, and scheduled or event-driven routines. Companion brings that help into the apps you’re already using.
Sign in, connect your email and calendar, tell Merlin about your priorities, and start your trial. The desktop setup then walks you through the permissions needed for Companion. Email and calendar connections are required in the current onboarding experience.
Yes. Pair the browser extension to use your existing browser sessions, or work in Merlin’s built-in browser. You can follow a task, stop it, or take over.
Press Option + Space to open Companion over your current app. Ask about your work, use selected text as context, or approve a screen capture when Merlin needs to see what’s on screen.
The Meetings tab brings recordings, speaker-labelled transcripts, and notes together. You can search meetings, organize them in folders, and use templates to refine your notes.
