What EquipmentShare does
EquipmentShare rents construction equipment to local, regional and national contractors and runs that business on software it builds itself. The 10-K describes a vertically integrated platform and lists these main activities:
- Equipment rental. Machines the company owns, plus machines enrolled in its OWN Program. Its website groups rentals into core equipment such as aerial lifts, earthmoving and forklifts, advanced solutions such as power, climate control and compressed air, and tools.
- OWN Program. Third-party investors buy equipment that EquipmentShare rents out and manages, sharing the rental revenue. At September 30, 2025, OWN equipment made up 52% of the rental fleet by original equipment cost, with about 1,300 participants, per the prospectus.
- T3. A cloud-based platform that works across equipment makers and combines telematics hardware, software and real-time data to manage fleets and jobsites. EquipmentShare sells T3 as a subscription.
- Sales and service. New and used equipment, parts, supplies and repairs, and 24 building materials and hardware stores as of December 31, 2025.
The prospectus says EquipmentShare rents to over 80% of active megaprojects within its serviceable footprint and has an in-house technology team of over 300 engineers. In 2025 its Rental Segment revenue rose 34% to $2,724 million, according to the full-year release.
